“ I had the best Quattro formaggi of my life here! I was not able to find fondue and this completely made up for it. The restaurant is open until midnight and prices are very reasonable (plus a discount if you’re staying at the hotel in the same building). Our waiter was almost out of an Italian caricature - impatient, restless, irritable - but I think it adds to the experience :) ”

“ Located quite at the end of Piazza Grande street, with a good choice for the hungry visitor walking the streets of Locarno. With a simple yet tasty offering menu, this place can for sure surprise you. Unlike some of the reviews I read, the service was fast and the staff very polite, kind, and funny. Ciccio (I hope am not misspelling his name) took care of us and was very attentive and always checking in if all ok - a treat that you see less and less those days. Food was correct and very tasty. There isn’t something I could fairly say was not good. Good food is supposed to be simple and that’s something the team at this restaurant gets it done very well. A good stop if you are in to enjoy the buzz of the Main Street. ”

“ In my experience the restaurant was good overall: the three vegetarian items (Saffron Risotto, Tomato Soup and Focaccia) we ordered were all tasty, it was clean, located at a good spot, and the staff were friendly in the typical Italian way. The décor is old-school, but then that’s what it is. Oh, last but not the least, the Cappuccino was tasty too. ”

“ Cozy restaurant in a hotel. We came by quite late and were seated promptly. There weren't many other people in the restaurant. Our meals were served really fast. The food was alright, comforting after a long day out. The hightlight was the waiter who seemed to know just how much he needed to entertain his guests. He had a spring in every step and teased the lady at the table nearby. She went along with it and they had a great time. For us he dropped a few jokes here and there and always had a smile while serving us. He was also very fluent in English, German and French. What a great guy! :) ”
